Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID)

AVID is an acronym for Advancement Via Individual Determination. AVID is recognized globally as a program that promotes student success in school while preparing them for a college/career path after high school. For more information, visit the official AVID site here. 

AVID is a program for students who are interested in attending college but could use support in organization and study skills to succeed in rigorous courses in both middle and high school.

ISD 622 offers AVID at all of our secondary schools.
